Launch of Shrimad Rajchandra Fellowship for the Specially Abled

Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital recently launched a new support club, Shrimad Rajchandra Fellowship for the Specially Abled. Launched for patients of Shrimad Rajchandra Viklang Centre, their families and specially-abled persons, this club will consist of two chapters – a Children’s Club and Adult’s Club. It has been established with the goal of bringing the specially-abled in the mainstream society and removing any stigma associated with disability. It will undertake activities to raise awareness of physical, mental and social rehabilitation. It will also provide them a platform to share their experiences and success stories for common learnings. Educational, sports, fun-filled activities and even festivals will be celebrated together. Vocational training will also be provided.

The inauguration was done by the pious hands of Pujya Gurudevshri in the presence of several dignitaries, including Shri Arvind Patel – Member of Legislative Assembly, Dharampur; Shri C. R. Kharsan – Collector, Valsad district; Shri Devang Desai – District Development Officer, Valsad; Shri Gopal Tadvi – Mamlatdar, Dharampur; Shri Jaydeep Solanki – Nagarpalika Pramukh, Dharampur and Shri Jayesh Parmar – Chief Officer, Nagarpalika, Dharampur.
