Shrimad Rajchandra Viklang Centre organises Mega Aids Distribution Camp

Shrimad Rajchandra Viklang Centre organised a mega camp through which custom-made aids and appliances worth Rs. 30 lakhs were distributed free of cost to over 150 children and adults. Taking into consideration individual and specific needs, high-quality aids such as wheelchairs, cerebral palsy special chairs, automatic stander, wheelchair tricycles, artificial limbs, walkers, hearing aids etc. were distributed. Beneficiaries included those who undertake regular therapy at Shrimad Rajchandra Viklang Centre and those identified to be in need for rehabilitation from a recently conducted screening camp.

The event also witnessed the inauguration of a new support club, Shrimad Rajchandra Fellowship for the Specially Abled, by the pious hands of Pujya Gurudevshri. Launched for patients of Shrimad Rajchandra Viklang Centre and their families as well as any specially-abled person, this support club will consist of two chapters – a Children’s Club and Adult’s Club. It has been established with the goal of promoting health education and raising awareness of disabilities. Through the Fellowship, members will get a platform to share their experiences and success stories and receive psychological support and guidance.

The occasion was attended by several dignitaries, including Shri Arvindbhai Patel – Member of Legislative Assembly, Dharampur; Shri C. R. Kharsan – Collector, Valsad district; Shri Devang Desai – District Development Officer, Valsad; Shri Gopal Tadvi – Mamlatdar, Dharampur; Shri Jaydeep Solanki – President, Dharampur Municipality and Shri Jayesh Parmar – Chief Officer, Dharampur Municipality.

Addressing the audience, Shri C. R. Kharsan commended Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care for distributing high-quality medical devices which are rarely available in rural areas. He also appreciated the efforts being undertaken under the 10 Care programme for holistic community development.

This initiative helped rekindle hope in the lives of several children and adults and will give them a renewed sense of purpose and self-sufficiency!
