Virtual Inauguration of the 150-Bed Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital COVID Care Centre

150-bed Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital COVID Care Centre in association with Atul Institute of Vocational Excellence was virtually inaugurated in the presence of Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji by Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat, Shri Acharya Devvrat!

The new facility has 16 wards and will provide free treatment to patients with mild to moderate symptoms, but what truly sets it apart is that it is providing such high-quality care, usually only seen in metro or urban cities, in a tribal region.

At the event, Atmarpit Nemiji – Trustee, Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, shared, “Pujya Gurudevshri has taught us to do all that we can to save lives, bridge every gap and treat each one as our loved ones; which reflects in each of our COVID relief initiatives over the past year. The inauguration of this 150 bed Centre is another milestone in this journey. Setting up such a high quality centre in this tribal region is what makes this centre different. A young and passionate team of doctors, nurses, paramedics and staff from big cities of India coming here to serve voluntarily, foregoing their comforts, is what makes this centre different. Doctors from US, UK and Australia conducting round-the-clock tele-consultations in local language is what makes this centre different. This centre is different because it runs on the passion for compassion.”

The dignitaries at the launch included Trustees from Atul Foundation including Smt. Vimlaben Lalbhai and Ms. Swati Lalbhai. Other esteemed dignitaries included Shri K.C. Patel – Member of Parliament; Shri R. R. Raval – Valsad Collector; Shri Arvind Patel – Valsad MLA; Shri Hemant Kansara – Valsad District BJP Head; Dr. Manoj Patel – Valsad Chief District Health Officer.
