Born a premature baby, Meet regularly got fits, which led to a delay in his physical development. When he was one-and-a-half years old, Meet was admitted to the District Early Intervention Centre as he could not speak properly, hold his neck straight, sit or stand properly.
He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy with tightness of both the lower limbs and delayed milestones. At the Centre, Meet was treated by paediatric orthopaedics and physiotherapists. After extensive treatment for over five years, he is now able to stand and walk independently.
With continued treatment, he will soon be able to attend school!
