A transformative paediatric cardiac camp was recently conducted by Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre in Dharampur.

It was no more a phrase but became a reality for this family, when a heavy wooden log fell on their 5 year child. He was playing in the backyard that day when this log fell over his chest. The pain was excruciating.

Impressed by the charitable work of Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre, a team from The Johnson & Johnson Institute recently held a training session for the surgeons and staff of the hospital. The Johnson & Johnson Institute is the training wing of Johnson & Johnson, a multinational corporation in the field of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and consumer goods.

A newborn, just five days old, was rushed to Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with severe jaundice, posing a threat of permanent neurological damage due to excessive bilirubin. Diagnosis uncovered an additional genetic disorder causing rapid red blood cell breakdown.
